Bu günlerde Dünya’nın sandığımdan daha da küçülmüş olduğu gerçeği ile yüz yüzeyim. Gelişen teknoloji ve belkide en çok internet yüzünden insanlık bambaşka bir boyuta doğru gidiyor. Dünya daha da küçülüyor.
Barış Manço’nun yıllar önce söylediği şarkıda olduğu gibi:
-Hemşerim senin memleket neree?
-Bu Dünya benim memleket!

Geçen haftalarda benimle elektronik posta yoluyla iletişim kuran Enrique Jaramillo
ile tanıştım. İnternet üzerinden gerçekleştirdiğimiz görüşmelerin amacı ise Panama’da yayımlanan “Hall arquitectura diseño + arte” sanat ve mimarlık dergisinin  benimle röportaj yapmak istemesiydi.

Bugün derginin Genel Direktörü olan Enrique bana röportajımın yayımlandığı derginin basıma girdiğini, basım bitince bir adet dergiyi bana yollayacağını söyledi. Bana da heyecanla derginin elime ulaşmasını beklemekten başka yapacak bir şey kalmadı.

Bütün bunlardan sonra ise ben hala Dünya’nın öteki ucu Panama’da yayımlanan bir dergide Türkiye’de yaşayan biri ile ne kadar rahat ve kolayca röportaj yapılabildiği, baskı aşamaları için gerekli teknik verilere sahip çalışmaların paylaşılabildiği, hatta röportaj dışında da muhabbet edip bir kaç günde bir geyik muhabbeti yapılabildiği gerçeği ile şaşkın şaşkın oturmaktayım.

Ancak bütün bu şaşkınlığın içinde emin olduğum bir şey varsa; o da günün birinde Panamalı biri ile karşılaşacak olursam, ona soracağım: “Panama’nın içinden misin kardeş?”, sorusudur.
Ne de olsa Türküz değil mi?

Aslında bu yazı yukarıda bitiyordu, ancak sevgili dostum Muammer Okumuş’un yorumunu okuduktan sonra röportajın kendisini ve benden istenilen fotomanip. çalışmalarımdan bazılarını da  paylaşmam gerektiğini anladım. Hall arquitectura diseño + arte ispanyolca yayımlanan bir dergi olduğundan dergide yayımlanan halini değil bana yönlendirilen soruları ve benim cevaplarımı sizlerle paylaşmanın daha doğru olacağını düşündüm.

2. What is a Surreal Artist?
A Surreal Artist is a person who can touch others subliminal knowledge or subconscious.

3. What is Photomanipulation?
Photo manipulation is a type of digital art. It is the technique of manipulating a photographic image either analog or digitally with similar or different elements.

4. Do you have any theme or style preferred for design?
Actually i don’t. It’s all about the mood i have, at that moment. But of course there is some other artists that i inspired by.

5. Do you think it depends on the technology at 100%?
No of course not. If some one will make a research about it they can easly see that, before computers, photo manipulation was achieved by retouching with ink, paint, double-exposure, piecing photos or negatives together in the darkroom, or scratching Poloroids.

6. Do you use your own image for photomanipulacion?
I’m using photos which i take. But it’s not necessary that i should on that photos. Some times i’m using models or different objects.

7. Do you like hands?
YES. I believe that hands have caracters. You can communicate with your hands. You can expose what you’re feeling at that moment, with just using your hands. So yes, i always like hands. They are more certain than our face

8. Those who inspire you?, your teachers
It’s a tough question. In years that i was in acadamy of fine arts, there are many names. But recently i couldn’t say some specific names. But maybe i can say that Tim Burton allways inspire me not with the design of his art (i love the design of his art) with the feel of something like HOPEFULL SADNESS.

9. Can people live and survive living with art work?
I think it’s depend on which country we live in. There are people that i know can live whit art work. But in Turkey (my country) it’s a little hard.  I’m working in advertisment industry. I’m an art director and design departmant director. With so i can live and survive.

10. What other activities you do?
I’m a scuba diving instructor and a blog writer.

11. If you could be other than yourself, for a single day, who will?
I really don’t know. I’m never want to be some one different. When i know some one that really affect me with talent or intelligence i always want to BE LIKE him or her, not just be him or her. But of course i want to be the luckiest man on the world for a single day.

12. Where you’ll be in 10 years?
I have no idea. I’m doing what i’m really want to do and what i really enjoy to do. So i believe that i’ll be happy in 10 years like i’m now.
